**The Award-Winning Legacy of John Roberts**

 

Did you know that John Roberts was recognized as the Most Sustainable Printer in the World? This remarkable achievement was awarded in 2011 by Heidelberg after a rigorous global evaluation of companies' environmental efforts. John Roberts emerged as a leader in sustainability, a distinction that we celebrate every day, with the award proudly displayed in our IT/HR hallway.  Our CEO, Michael Keene, and his wife, Ann Marie, flew to Germany to accept the award.  

 

**Our Ongoing Commitment to Environmental Stewardship**

 

At John Roberts, our dedication to the environment is unwavering, and we continually strive to set new benchmarks. We're proud to share some of our key initiatives that highlight our commitment:

 

1. **Embracing Green Power**: 25% of our energy comes from wind power. This isn't just any green power; it's a conscious choice that goes beyond mandatory requirements, representing our voluntary commitment to reducing carbon emissions and our ecological footprint. Our clients value this initiative for its positive environmental impact and zero-emissions profile.
2. **Sustainable Green Printing Partnership Since 2011**: Our certification with the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) is not just a badge; it's a testament to our commitment to leading the printing industry in sustainability and responsibility. The SGP certification means we adhere to the highest standards in sustainable practices, sourcing, waste reduction, and creating safer work environments. This recognition is a mark of trust and quality, highly regarded by global brands.
3. **Launching PrintReleaf in 2023**: Our newest venture, PrintReleaf, began in April 2023. This innovative program aligns with our goal to minimize our carbon footprint by offsetting our paper consumption through reforestation. It's a proactive approach, enabling us to efficiently analyze our use of paper and fiber-based materials. It also offers our customers the unique opportunity to participate in reforestation efforts directly. They can even showcase their environmental impact through QR codes linked to their personalized certificates.
