In 1988, John Raymond was working a seasonal job ending in the summer when he heard about an opening
at John Roberts. He thought he’d see how it went over the winter, but by the time spring rolled around, he forgot all
about that other job and stayed put. For 35 years!  His first position at JR was roll tender in the Web department. Today, he is a second-shift first pressman in Web with a cadre of co-workers he’s known his “entire adult life.”

The result of this incredibly stable unit, with many decades of collective experience, is a brain trust that can solve
nearly any printing challenge. This and his friendship with his coworkers have kept him happy at John Roberts for his
entire career. John also appreciates all the Keene family has done to care for their workers.

John indulges in activities that bring him joy and relaxation during his leisure time. He immerses himself in the thrill of hunting, fishing, and tinkering around in his garage. One of his true passions lies in the collection of vintage grocery bags, and he takes great pleasure in uncovering the most obscure and unique pieces. John and his beloved wife, Chris, reside in the serene town of Andover, where they have raised their two wonderful children, Samantha and Joe, who still call this place home.  Retirement seems to be a distant thought for John as he is content and finds satisfaction in pursuits at JR.
